Housing

As new developments are added, the City must ensure that the necessary infrastructure -- fire, police, schools, etc. -- are extended as necessary to maintain quality of service.

New Housing

New housing projects are happening in Oak Ridge and Charlie supports these projects, but since they are being submitted at a rapid pace he feels that the ordinances need review to address the new trends toward higher densities to assure quality, walkability, inclusion of open space, landscaping, and off-street parking so these developments maintain their quality for future homeowners.

Recreation & Outdoors

Charlie's history of environmental stewardship goes back decades, from stopping the construction of a coal barge on our waterfront in the 1970s, to supporting the development and expansion of our world-class rowing facilities and greenways.
